Maasai Simba Camp is in Merrueshi Group Ranch close to Amboseli National Park at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Chulu Hills National Park is only 5 Kilometers (3 mi) away from our camp. See map of area below. The village of Merrueshi, where simba camp is located, is off-the-beaten-path and is not visited by hundreds of tourists every day. We only accept limited groups a year.

Merrueshi Group Ranch is a wildlife corridor between Chulu Hills National Park, Amboseli and Tsavo West National Parks. Merrueshi is home to hundreds of wildlife such as zebra, wildebeest, ostrich, gazelles, eland, and Maasai giraffe that depend on abundant acacia trees along Kiboko River, which is also the primary water source for people and wildlife in Merrueshi Group Ranch.

Illusive leopard, lion, and cheetah are also found in the area. Merrueshi is famous for its ancient historical Maasai villages, including a 1,000 year-old Mancala game.

Apart from visitng our area we also offer travellers the opportunity to visit Game Parks and Reserves including, but not must, Amboseli National Park, Tsavo West Game Reserve, Maasai Mara Game Reserve and more. Just let us know where else you'd like to visit and we will take you there.
