Family Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrive in Nairobi and transfer to PanAfric hotel or similar accommodation.

Day 2 – Full day in Nairobi with a visit to the giraffe center and elephant orphanage (B&B)

Day 3, 4 & 5 – Depart Nairobi for Masai Mara game reserve and spend 3 nights at Mara Sarova deluxe camp (B, L, D). Masai Mara is famous for large pride of lions and the annual wildebeest migration, which coincides with the months of July/ August and October.

Day 6, 7 & 8 – Depart Masai Mara and arrive to Nairobi in time for lunch; proceed to the Maasai village of Merrueshi and spend 3 nights at Maasai Simba Camp (B, L, D). Time in the village includes walking safari with the Maasai warriors, visit with the local women cooperative and village elders, visit local schools and health center. Your kids will have the opportunity to participate in a local soccer match with their age-mates. Experience in the Maasai village of Merrueshi is truly unique and authentic – hence the experience is offered to a limited and very lucky group of westerners to the Maasai country.

Day 9 – Full day excursion to Amboseli National Park. Amboseli is home to hundreds of African elephants and the legendary Mt. Kilimanjaro. We’ll have lunch at Ol Tukai Lodge and swim while watching the elephants at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro. There will be an afternoon game drive before returning back to Maasai Simba Camp for overnight.

Day 10 – Depart Maasai Simba Camp and arrive to Nairobi later in the afternoon in time for your evening departure back home. With your request we can arrive to Nairobi early enough for your last minute shopping.
